Cookies with an Accent is a “dreams come true” project of two people from different continents brought together by destiny. Since the first day Taylor and I met, we shared our passion about the food industry and strive for dedicated work. With zero business experience, but following our hearts, we pulled together and created something incredibly amazing.
Our built from scratch "design on a dime" truck is now serving homemade ice cream sandwiches in Huntersville, North Carolina. We are not trying to reinvent an iconic American dessert. We challenge ourselves to make it the best possible by using only organic, locally-sourced and high-quality ingredients. We make everything by hand, including cinnamon chips for our Cinnamon Roll cookies, almond brittle for Butter Almond Crunch ice cream, oreo wafers for Cookies and Cream. This way we know only the finest ingredients are used. We strongly believe that better ingredients lay the foundation for unique textures and bright flavors of our ice cream and cookies.
The key to our perfectly balanced and intensely flavored ice cream is fresh and wholesome dairy products from family-run farms of Homestead Creamery in Wirtz, VA. Their milk is not only grass-fed, hormone- and antibiotic-free, but it is also absolutely delicious. Along with our luscious ice cream, we serve soft, chewy, and freshly baked throughout the day cookies. Both, cookies and ice cream can be enjoyed separately or paired together to create a match made in heaven.
At the end of the day, it all comes down to people and the experience they get. We value relationships – with the people we work with, the people we source our food from and the people who we feed. Our goal is to provide a warm and attentive atmosphere that will bring people together and truly make them feel good.
